Growing up, I would dread whenever my mother would light a scented candle, and I'd have to avoid the room it was in. It wasn't because of the particular scent, it was how it affected me, causing inflammation in my sinuses. I have avoided lighting scented candles and using room and linen sprays because of the irritation they would cause me, sometimes lasting for days from brief exposure. Operation Wax changed all that.

The ingredients that we use in our handmade scented candles are free of all phthalates, and other irritation inducing additives used by larger candle making companies to improve their scent throw at the expense of your health. Our carefully curated fragrance oils are aimed at providing the best, strongest smelling aromas while also mitigating many negative effects. We can not absolutely, 100% guarantee that you will not feel any irritation, headaches, respiratory issues, etc., as we understand that everyone is affected differently, but I, and many others that I have met with the same scent sensitivity, are not bothered by our handcrafted scented candles.

All of our products besides scented candles are handmade with the same amount of care and mindfulness, allowing those with scent sensitivities to enjoy a solid perfume or cologne balm, scented lotions, and our foaming hand soaps.
