Make + Take Candle Studio FAQs

Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes, walk-ins are welcome when availability allows. Sessions are limited, so walk-in availability depends on staffing and current bookings. If we’re available, we’re happy to take you! Walk-in availability is not guaranteed and is first-come, first-served.
How many people can book a session?
Sessions are capped at 5 guests.
Can I book a private session / party?
Yes, you can reserve a full session as a private experience.
For groups larger than 5, please email us at operationwax@gmail.com ! We would love to accommodate you.
How much does it cost?
$35 per person. Upgrades and add-ons are available.

Can I make more than one candle?
Yes! Additional candles are $15 each (during your visit).
What’s your cancellation / reschedule policy?
We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
    • 48+ hours: You may reschedule your appointment
    • Less than 48 hour cancellation: You may reschedule your appointment once
    • No-shows: Your payment is forfeited
What if I’m late?
If you arrive 10+ minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate your session (based on timing and capacity). Accommodation is not guaranteed once a session has started.
What do we do during the experience, and how long is it?
You’ll explore our scent bar, blend a custom fragrance with help from a fragrance advisor, pour your candle, and personalize your label to make it yours.
 Plan for about 30-45 minutes for the hands on experience.
When can I take my candle home?
Your candle needs about 1 hour to set before it’s ready to leave with you.
Do you have a minimum age limit?
Guests under 15 must be with an adult.
Can I bring in my own décor, food, or drinks?
 Absolutely! Outside snacks and drinks are welcome. We do not allow alcohol.
Can you ship my candle instead?
Yes, we charge a flat $10 shipping fee and send it out next-day.
How long do you hold finished candles?
We hold candles for up to 7 days. We’ll contact you around day 5 if it hasn’t been picked up. After 7 days, unclaimed candles may be donated due to limited storage.
